Recently I came across the Prepared NOT Scared! blog. This blog has lots of great emergency preparedness projects as well as other great items to help you get organized.
I was thrilled to find a pdf file for an address book! You would think that addresses would be easy enough for me to have organized, but it's not! I have tried to keep my important addresses electronically, but then the hard drive crashes, or I forget to save the whole page of labels I just typed, etc. Frustrating! My husband (the techie guy that he is) would definitely not agree with me on this, but sometimes paper just works better at organization!
For this project, I printed out the pdf document found here, and took it to my local copy store to print on cardstock. After cutting I took my paper corner cutter to each card to round the corners. I also distressed the first page with some brown ink around the edges. Then I punched holes and added two ring clips.
My completed project cost me $9.37 for the copies, and about 2 hours of my time cutting and perfecting. Don't forget to save the original copies for future use!
Enjoy!
